Welcome to Kynd2Mynd โ a secure, private platform for tracking your mental resilience through the Three Pillars of Health: Sleep, Activity, and Mood. This guide covers everything from signing up to every feature in the app.
1. Getting Started
New Users โ Creating an Account
On the landing page, click "Get Started Free" in the nav or hero โ or click "Start Free Trial" on any plan card in the pricing section.
The modal opens on the "Create Account" tab.
Select your plan: Solo, Family, or Wellness Group.
Enter your email address, a password (minimum 6 characters), and confirm it.
Click Create Account. Your dashboard opens immediately.
Prefer Google? Click Sign up with Google โ you'll choose your plan after signing in.
All plans include a 14-day free trial โ no credit card required.
Returning Users โ Logging In
Click "Log In" in the nav or hero.
Enter your email and password โ Log In.
Or click Sign in with Google.
Forgot Your Password?
On the Log In tab, type your email address first, then click "Forgot Password?" โ a reset link will be sent to your inbox.
Try Before You Commit โ Live Sandbox
Click "๐งช Try Live Sandbox" on the landing page for a 10-minute anonymous demo session loaded with sample data. No account needed. Your sandbox data is discarded when the session ends.
Child Login (PIN-based)
Children on a Family plan never need an email address.
Click "Log In" โ ๐ถ Child Login โ
Step 1: Enter the family account owner's email address.
Step 2: Select your name from the list, enter your PIN โ Log In.
2. Plans & Subscription
Kynd2Mynd offers three plans. You choose one at signup and can upgrade at any time from the Subscription card in your dashboard.

The Subscription card in your dashboard shows your current plan, trial countdown (or active status), and an upgrade button. Stripe billing integration is coming soon.
3. Pillar I: Sleep Tracking
One entry per day: You can only log sleep once per calendar date.
Hours: Select 1โ14 hours in 0.5-hour increments (default: 7 hrs).
Quality scale: Rate your rest from 1 (Poor) โ 5 (Great).
Notes: Optional free-text field for context.
History table: Displays your last 10 entries with sortable columns.
Export: Download a timestamped CSV of all sleep records.
4. Pillar II: Fitness Activity Fitness
Use the toggle at the top of the Fitness card to switch between two entry methods:
Method A โ Manual Entry
Select "Manual Entry".
Choose a date and your Total Active Minutes (10โ180 min, in 10-min steps).
Click Log Manual Activity.
Method B โ Peloton Import
Download your workout history CSV from your Peloton account.
Select "Import Peloton CSV" and upload the file.
Your Peloton sessions are parsed and merged into the fitness log automatically.
The history table shows: Date, Manual Minutes, Peloton Minutes, Total Minutes. Columns are sortable; use the row limit selector to control how many entries display. Export to CSV available.
5. Pillar III: Event Logging
Logging a New Event
Event Type: Choose from the dropdown (e.g. Anxiety). Selecting Anxiety reveals a dynamic symptom checklist โ check every symptom that applies, plus an "Other" box for anything not listed.
Severity: Rate intensity 1 (Low) โ 5 (Panic).
Duration: 10โ180 minutes.
Place: Home / School / Other. Selecting "Other" reveals a text input.
Date/Time: Defaults to right now; adjust as needed.
Notes: Free-text field for additional context.
Photos: Attach up to 5 images from your device, or use the ๐ท camera button to snap a photo in-app.
Click Log Entry to save.
Editing or Deleting an Entry
Click Edit on any row in the records table. The entry form switches to edit mode โ update any field and click Update Entry, or click Delete to remove it permanently.
6. Analysis & Reporting
The "Sort and Display Records" table at the bottom of your dashboard merges all three pillars โ Sleep, Fitness, and Events โ into a single sortable timeline.
Filters: Filter by event type and/or date range. Set the rows-per-page limit.
Sortable columns: Click any column header to sort ascending or descending.
Inline editing: Click Edit on any row to modify that entry.
Export all: Download a complete timestamped CSV โ symptom details are included.
Each individual pillar card (Sleep, Fitness) also has its own export button for targeted downloads.
7. Family Plan Family
Available on the Family ($9.99/mo) and Wellness Group plans.
Access Family Management from the card on your dashboard โ it opens a dedicated page where you manage everyone on your plan.
Roles at a Glance
๐ Account Owner
That's you. Full control over children, Trusted Adults, and access permissions.
๐ค Trusted Adults
Other Kynd2Mynd users you invite (co-parents, therapists, grandparents). Their personal data stays completely private from you โ you only grant them selective read access to specific children.
๐ถ Children
No email needed. They log in with a PIN and see only their own data in a simplified child view.
Adding a Child
Click + Add Child on the Family page.
Enter the child's name, an optional birth year, and a 4โ8 digit PIN.
Confirm the PIN โ save.
Child PIN Login
On the main login screen, click ๐ถ Child Login โ.
Enter the family account owner's email โ click Find My Family โ.
Select the child's name, enter their PIN โ Log In.
Adding a Trusted Adult
Click + Add Trusted Adult.
Enter their Kynd2Mynd account email (they must already have an account).
Click Look Up to confirm their account, then send the invite.
Access Control
The Access Control matrix on the Family page shows a grid of your Trusted Adults (columns) and children (rows). Check a box to grant that adult read-only access to a child's data. Uncheck to revoke.
Private Parent Notes
Click the ๐ icon next to any child to open the notes panel. Add observations, reminders, or anything else you want to track. These notes are never visible to the child โ they are only accessible to the Account Owner.
Age-Out โ Converting a Child to Their Own Account
When a child is ready for independence:
Click the age-out button next to their name on the Family page.
A unique invite code is generated (valid for 30 days).
Share the code with them. They create a new account at kynd2mynd.io using the invite link.
Their full wellness history transfers automatically to their new Solo account.
Changing a Child's PIN
Click the PIN icon (๐) next to any child, enter a new 4โ8 digit PIN, confirm, and save.
8. Wellness Groups Group
Available on the Wellness Group plan ($29.99/mo).
Creating a Group
From the Wellness Group card on your dashboard, click Create a Wellness Group.
A unique 4-character group code is generated and displayed.
Share that code with your members.
Joining a Group (as a Member)
From the Wellness Group card, enter the 4-character code in the "Join a Group" field.
Click Join โ the group appears in your dashboard.
Group Capacity
1 Admin + 1 Trainee + up to 20 Members
Admins can view member count and access the group management page
9. Sharing Your Data
Available on all paid plans.
The Share Codes card in your dashboard lets you give anyone read-only access to your data โ no Kynd2Mynd account required on their end.
Click Generate Share Code โ an 8-character code is created instantly.
Click Copy Link next to a code to copy the shareable URL to your clipboard.
Send the link to whoever you want โ they can view your data at shared.html?code=XXXX.
To remove access, click Revoke. The link stops working immediately.
10. Community New
Click ๐ฅ Community in the dashboard header to access the community feed.
Post: Share a check-in, a thought, or a win.
Reply: Respond to others with encouragement and support.
Designed for kyndness โ there are no "Like" counts or engagement metrics.
Community is hidden in child sessions and sandbox mode.
11. Sensory Friendly Mode
Sensory Friendly Mode replaces gradients, animations, and neon colours with a calm, flat palette throughout the entire app.
Click ๐ Sensory Friendly Version โ available in the login modal, the dashboard header, and at the top of this guide. Your preference is saved to your browser and persists across sessions.
